Joan has been a Real Estate agent since 1997. She got her start when an opportunity came up to fill an assistant position at Coldwell Banker on a temporary basis, she took it and found that real estate is what she truly loved. Having come from a family of real estate investors and because as a psychology major in college she has always loved people, real estate was a natural path for her. She was immediately “swooped up” by a Top Producing agent to become his Buyer’s Agent, working strictly with buyers. It was a new concept, but in her first year she sold 24 properties, and off she went. After two years, Joan decided to venture out on her own and joined up with another agent to become the team of Bob and Joan. They went on to win Top Team awards yearly with Coldwell Banker and later Boardwalk Realty. Joan joined ReMax Estate Properties in 2012 and she was voted into the ReMax 100% Top Agent Awards category every year until her move to Cavanaugh Realtors in January of 2023.
Joan Moon moved to Culver City in 1958 with her parents and siblings, and never left. She attended 5th & 6th grades at El Marino, as well as Culver City Junior High and CCHS. She knows every street in the city, even better than Waze! Having sold over 600 properties, Joan still loves what she does. Whether it be a Seller or a Buyer…she is always there for them.
She and her daughter/partner, Vanessa Davies, are excited to be joining Cavanaugh Realtors in Culver City. It feels just like coming home.
