Dannie Cavanaugh is a Mar Vista and Culver City native. He grew up in a prominent Culver City real estate family, the son of Dan Cavanaugh Sr., founder of Cavanaugh Realtors. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. After working for a year in the Culver City Parks and Recreation program, he joined the family business in 1976 and began a distinguished real estate career. Dannie took over Cavanaugh Realtors from his father in 1994.
Concerned about his community and the strength of the real estate industry, Dannie is active in local civic groups and has assumed leadership positions in his profession's governing bodies. Dannie is one of the most universally well-liked and respected figures in Westside real estate.
